Childcare Services provided for age group 6 weeks - 12 years 11months
There are many good in-home daycares in the area. How do you choose which one works best for you and your family?
Here are a few questions to consider asking or pondering about daycares...
* *Is the place you are looking at LICENSED? Licensed providers have been through hours of training, including an Overview for Family Child Care Providers, Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect, and First Aid and CPR. They also go through a thorough background check through the state and are monitored by the state to ensure the highest quality of care.
> * *Is there a STRUCTURED CURRICULUM or do the children run wild? Although a schedule is hard to stick to with children, it is still very beneficial so there is an agenda for the day and the provider has things for the children to do.
* *When they say ARTS AND CRAFTS do they mean they give the children crayons and a piece of paper and call it good or do they give them projects that will expand their horizons?
* *Do they LIMIT and MONITOR TELEVISION viewing or are you paying them to use an electronic babysitter? There are providers that do this.
* *Do they offer a SAFE, CARING, FAMILY LIKE ENVIROMENT or is the daycare always messy, out of control, and a dysfunctional family environment? You don’t want your children in an environment where the adults yell at each other or are unhappy because this will show through to their work, in this care, caring for your child.
* *Are they FAMILY ORIENTED and FRIENDLY? No brainier, right? I will be caring for your most precious member(s) of your family. I know that your need to have someone who is dedicated to the children and the families they serve? Just as important, the provider needs to be friendly.
* * *NOW, what if I told you there is a daycare that offers all this and more?! Have we caught your attention? Check out our website to find out who we are and what makes us different then the other providers
